Who runs this site
WoW Forever Raid Planner is a free, personal, non-commercial project for organising raids in World of Warcraft: Forever. It is not affiliated with Blizzard Entertainment, Discord or Raid-Helper.
For any question about your data, or to ask for it to be removed, message shanaki_ on Discord.
What we store
If you sign in (raid leaders and editors)
- Your email address, and the name and profile picture link your Google account provides when you sign in. The email decides what you're allowed to do on the site.
- The display name you choose. Other editors see this instead of your email.
- What you create or change: templates, sessions, assignments, uploaded images, and who last changed them.
Other editors never see your full email — only a shortened version such as em•••••@gm•••.com for emailaccount@gmail.com. The few people who manage users on the site can see full emails, as they need them to give access.
If you're in a raid roster
When a raid leader imports a sign-up list from Raid-Helper, we store what it contains for each raider: Discord name and Discord user ID, character names, class and specialisation, group placement and sign-up status (for example late or tentative). Raid leaders can also add character names by hand.
If you only view a raid
Nothing. You don't need an account, and we don't record who opens a share link. Your filter choices are remembered in your own browser only.
Who can see it
- A session's share link shows that raid's instructions and its raiders' names, classes and assignments to anyone who has the link. The raid leader can turn the link off or replace it at any time.
- Editors of a session see its roster. Raid leaders choose who those editors are.
- We don't sell or share your data with anyone, and there are no adverts, analytics or tracking.
Where it's kept
The site relies on a few services to run, which process data on our behalf:
- Supabase — the database, sign-in and image storage.
- Vercel — hosts the website.
- Google — only to confirm who you are when you sign in.
Like most websites, these services keep short-lived technical logs (such as IP addresses) for security.
Cookies
We only use the cookies needed to keep you signed in. Viewers' filter choices are saved in the browser's own storage. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.
How long we keep it, and your rights
Data is kept while the site is in use. Raid leaders can delete their sessions at any time, which removes the roster and assignments stored with them. Raiders' Discord names and characters are also kept in a shared player list, so they're remembered from one raid to the next. You can ask to see the data held about you, have it corrected, or have it removed — message shanaki_ on Discord.
